Why have a chiropractor write it?
Dr. Covert is a chiropractor and is also certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and physique and bodybuilding coach. Your program can push you toward your goal while working around the problem areas he sees in the clinic.
If you'd like, your workout plan can be built alongside a nutrition plan, including what and when to eat around your training, so the two work together.
Where we see you
We have two offices, both inside Parkway Athletic Club and open to everyone, no gym membership needed. South Reno is on Double Diamond Parkway, close to Damonte Ranch and South Meadows. Sparks is on East Lincoln Way, near The Outlets at Legends.
Questions
Is this the same as the exercises I get during care?
No. Exercises for your injury are included in your care. A full workout program is a separate service for people who want a complete training plan.
Do you train people in person?
Dr. Covert writes your program, and you follow it on your own at the gym or at home. He doesn't offer ongoing in-person training sessions.
How much does a program cost?
It depends on what you need. Call us and we'll explain the options.
